My friend and I were travelling to Campbell River for another friend's wedding. Met this awesome guy in a Diplomatico trailer parked in the parking lot. Listened to Grateful Dead on his Diskman and he told us all about the worlds conspiracies. The guy was a blast. Name was Kranston. Had summer teeth but a huge heart. The beach is full of washed up logs and makes it for a nice walk along the shore. Try to not touch the sand by walking on a lot the logs. Fun game. Great spot. Great time.

It's a very beautiful place to spend a weekend! There is a camping site very close to it so if you're travelling, it's perfect.

Great camping, although it feels a bit like a subdivision. Nature house is under new management, and seems that the old proprietors took the display material with them... Would return to camp here again, the beach is excellent, lots for kids to do.

A huge provincially run park with a beautiful beach. The sites are well maintained but the showers aren't. At least there are showers though. A good playground for kids aged 5 to 12. Other members of our group had a great time at the nature talks which were very well run.

We loved this amazing campground. The sites are clean and well organized and separated. Very quiet and the patrons and staff were super nice. Appreciated the warm showers and the abundance of washrooms and water taps and garbages and recycling bins. The beach is really fun. We enjoyed swimming and exploring and seeing jellyfish and crabs and live sand dollars and anemones. Highly recommended!
